About the Role

Jhpiego, a global leader in health innovations and affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Associate to join our team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will contribute to the multi-country Scaling the Optimal Use of Multiple ACTs to Prevent Antilarial Drug Resistance (STOP-AMDR) project. Your work will directly support efforts to protect the efficacy of existing ACT treatments, reduce malaria mortality, and shape public health outcomes across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support facility-level data quality through onsite verification of entries on service delivery registers and data systems.
  • Assist health facilities and LGAs in systematically correcting data errors using standardized change log tools.
  • Participate in monthly data validation processes, ensuring adherence to all core data quality dimensions.
  • Administer and supervise structured questionnaires and operational research data collection activities.
  • Support the institutionalization and strengthening of integrated data management systems at state and LGA levels.
  • Monitor weekly uploads and ensure the timely harmonization of monthly project data.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, success stories, and comprehensive activity reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Social Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of professional work experience in monitoring and evaluation or data management, preferably within health quality improvement projects.
  • Proven track record in conducting robust data analysis and producing high-quality programmatic reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced mobile data collection tools like ODK, Kobo Toolbox, and REDCap.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and field locations across Nigeria as needed.
