About the Role
Best Service Raya, a leading name in the distribution and sales of mobile phones and small domestic appliances, is looking for a dedicated and proficient Mobile Phone Engineer to join our growing technical team in Ibadan. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering top-tier hardware and software repair solutions, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless and reliable mobile experience.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues across a wide range of mobile devices.
- Perform precision repair and component replacements, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and motherboards.
- Conduct software updates, device flashing, and rigorous quality assurance testing post-repair.
- Ensure all repairs adhere strictly to company quality standards and targeted turnaround times (TAT).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date repair logs and service reports for operational transparency.
- Provide professional technical explanations and excellent aftersales support to valued customers.
- Strictly follow ESD, workplace safety, and manufacturer repair guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with spare parts inventory and customer service teams to streamline daily operations.
- Proven professional experience in smartphone repair, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience working with both Android and iOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in utilizing specialized repair tools, soldering stations, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
- Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in electronics repair will be considered a strong advantage.
