About the Role
Estrada International Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Expatriate Milling Shift Supervisor for our client's state-of-the-art rice milling facility in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end rice milling activities during your assigned shift, ensuring maximum efficiency, minimal product loss, and strict compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise complete milling operations from paddy intake to finished rice production.
- Monitor and operate cleaners, de-stoners, huskers, whiteners, polishers, color sorters, and packing lines.
- Track key performance indicators including throughput, head-rice yield, broken percentage, and moisture levels.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Control and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment and maintain product specifications.
- Lead, train, and supervise shift operators, packing staff, and casual laborers.
- Ensure stringent adherence to plant safety procedures, machinery guarding, and hygiene standards.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Agricultural, Production Engineering, or Food Technology.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with a mandatory background in rice milling.
- Strong technical expertise in grain processing machinery and milling recovery optimization.
- Indian nationality preferred, with a willingness to relocate and work onsite in Kano, Nigeria.
