About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading Cocoa Processing Factory in Akure, Ondo State, right in the heart of Nigeria’s cocoa growing belt. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, we supply high-quality cocoa products to the international market. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for ambitious young professionals to join our dynamic manufacturing operations through our Graduate Trainee programme.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in process plant operations, reliability and maintenance, utilities, and engineering projects.
- Identify and analyze equipment failures and operational variances to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and technical teams to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage assigned engineering projects and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and comply with international food safety and manufacturing regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Completed NYSC or currently serving with a clear completion date.
- Not more than two to three years of post-NYSC experience.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, rigour, practicality, and integrity.
- Willingness to be based in Akure, Ondo State, and work in a manufacturing environment.
