About the Role
Crescent Rice Mill Limited is a leading and rapidly growing rice processing company located at KM 15, Kano - Gumel Road, Jogana, Kano, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing high-quality rice products to homes and businesses nationwide while supporting local agricultural communities and promoting sustainable economic development. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Milling Operator to join our dynamic production team and help drive our operational excellence forward.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor advanced rice milling machinery and processing equipment to ensure continuous and efficient production.
- Perform routine machine inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards for products including Head Rice, Broken Rice, and Rice Bran.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with production supervisors, maintenance teams, and fellow operators to meet daily output targets.
- Record production data, equipment performance metrics, and material usage accurately during assigned shifts.
- Proven experience working as a milling operator in a rice mill or similar agro-processing facility is a strong advantage.
- Good technical understanding of heavy machinery, mechanical systems, and automated production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle shift rotations, and perform well under pressure.
