Runofeeds Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Junior Nutritionist with hands-on feed mill experience to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in formulating and reviewing poultry feed diets to meet the precise nutritional requirements of various classes of birds.
- Support the ongoing development, laboratory testing, and continuous improvement of innovative feed formulations.
- Evaluate raw materials and finished feed products rigorously to ensure high nutritional adequacy and superior quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Production and Quality Assurance teams to maintain strict feed quality standards.
- Monitor daily feed formulation processes and maintain accurate nutritional and production documentation.
- Research current industry developments in animal nutrition, feed technology, and sustainable ingredient sourcing.
- Provide reliable technical support on feed-related nutritional matters to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Animal Production, or a closely related agricultural field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience within a commercial feed mill environment.
- Solid practical knowledge of poultry nutrition, feed manufacturing processes, and animal feed formulation.
- Comprehensive understanding of diverse feed ingredients, nutritional requirements, and feed quality control protocols.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional production and quality control teams.
