About the Role
Aldelano Organic Foods is a pioneering clean green farming company specializing in hydroponically grown, organic greenhouse produce of superior quality and taste. We are seeking a practical, results-driven Farm Supervisor to oversee our greenhouse and open-field pepper cultivation operations with an immediate resumption date.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all aspects of greenhouse and open-field pepper production, from nursery establishment to harvesting.
- Monitor crop growth, manage drip irrigation and fertigation systems, and ensure precise fertilizer application.
- Conduct daily crop inspections to identify early signs of pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies, implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
- Coordinate farm workers, allocate daily tasks, enforce workplace safety standards, and provide hands-on agronomic training.
- Oversee harvesting schedules, sorting, grading, and accurate record-keeping of daily farm activities and yields.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven practical experience in commercial greenhouse and open-field pepper cultivation (habanero, chilli, or bell peppers).
- Strong working knowledge of drip irrigation, fertigation, pest management, and crop nutrition.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to supervise field workers and execute production schedules effectively.
