About the Role
Lonadek is a premier firm of technical consultants dedicated to implementing and developing Local Content in a manner that adds value to all stakeholders in the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Midstream / Downstream Lead to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive industry expertise to oversee midstream and downstream operations, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and mentor indigenous talent to drive excellence across complex energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic technical leadership for midstream and downstream activities, including gas processing, LNG, pipelines, refining, and petroleum products distribution.
- Oversee the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to global best practices, safety standards, and local content mandates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, multinational organizations, and indigenous companies to optimize systems, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct due diligence, technology transfer initiatives, and capacity-building programs to enhance local competence and capability.
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, delivering high-quality engineering support services that add tangible value to client businesses.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and sustainable national development within the energy sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum, or a related technical discipline.
- 8 to 10+ years of progressive professional experience in gas, LNG, pipelines, refining, petroleum products, or related midstream and downstream activities.
- Demonstrated expertise in local content implementation and human resource capital development within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering technical projects in the Gulf of Guinea or similar regions.
