Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to guest repair requests and ensure all in-room and public area maintenance is executed efficiently.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
- Manage maintenance tasks via the Property Management System (PMS), updating work orders and job cards accurately.
- Perform general handyman duties including unclogging drains, repairing hardware, programming TVs, and maintaining AC units.
- Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems, acting decisively during emergencies to protect guests and hotel property.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and engineering workspaces in clean and operational conditions.
- Proven experience as a handyman, electrician, or maintenance technician, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to interpret readings from meters, gauges, and technical manuals.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
