District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace) is Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, opening its doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumber to ensure the flawless operation of all water, drainage, and heating systems across our prestigious property. In this vital role, you will uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality by delivering prompt, efficient, and discreet maintenance services to our esteemed guests and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair all plumbing fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems, and piping networks throughout the luxury residence and hotel property.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing infrastructure to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance before failures occur.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, residents, and management with professionalism and high attention to detail.
- Diagnose complex plumbing problems using advanced tools and apply effective, long-lasting solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the broader facilities and engineering team to support general property upkeep and facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all plumbing maintenance work, repairs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Ensure all plumbing operations strictly adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and building codes.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional plumbing experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end residential setting.
- Relevant trade certification, City and Guilds, National Diploma, or equivalent vocational training in plumbing and pipefitting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of water supply systems, sanitary drainage, and modern luxury bathroom fixtures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for quality and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations as required by hospitality operations.
