About the Role
District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace) is Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, and we are opening our doors for exceptional world-class hospitality talent. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proficient Electrician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and reliability of all electrical installations and systems across our prestigious property, delivering an uncompromising standard of excellence to our esteemed guests and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment throughout the luxury residence and hospitality facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, generators, lighting systems, and power distribution units to preemptively identify and resolve issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency electrical call-outs with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with national safety codes, industry regulations, and internal company standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, inventory of electrical supplies, and equipment inspection reports.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering and facilities team members to support overall property operations and capital projects.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional electrical experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, high-end residential complex, or large commercial facility.
- Relevant trade certification, diploma, or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in reading technical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
