We are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious Mica and Spodumene Operators to support our plant production activities in Ode Remo, Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities- Operate assigned plant equipment and processing areas in strict accordance with approved standard operating procedures.
- Support the safe handling, movement, and processing of mica and spodumene materials.
- Follow established safety protocols for the handling of industrial chemicals and process materials.
- Monitor operating conditions closely and report any equipment abnormalities or faults promptly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness standards within assigned work areas.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply fully with all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Participate actively in shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records.
- Report spillages, unsafe conditions, and other incidents immediately to supervisors and plant management.
- Minimum of SSCE/IGCSE with at least five credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and one other Science subject.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven operational experience working with industrial or dangerous chemicals.
- Physically capable of working in a demanding industrial environment and comfortable working in shifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Ode Remo or nearby communities within Ogun State and can comfortably commute to the plant.
