About the Role
Nectar Beauty Hub is a premier retail destination redefining the beauty experience in Nigeria through an extensive and curated selection of skincare, cosmetics, and lifestyle products. We are currently looking for a creative and detail-orented Merchandiser to join our expanding team and help us optimize product presentation and inventory availability across our retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement visually appealing in-store displays and window merchandising strategies that align with brand standards and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor stock levels, analyze product performance data, and coordinate with suppliers and inventory teams to ensure optimal product availability.
- Track emerging beauty trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to recommend profitable merchandising strategies.
- Manage inventory flow from the warehouse to the sales floor, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate shelf tagging.
- Train and guide retail floor staff on visual merchandising guidelines and product positioning to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate records of merchandise movement, damages, and returns.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Merchandiser, Visual Merchandiser, or similar retail role, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or fast-moving consumer goods sector.
- Strong eye for visual aesthetics with a deep understanding of modern merchandising techniques and retail psychology.
- Excellent analytical skills for tracking sales data, stock turnover, and inventory metrics.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
