About the Role
TechnoServe is a dynamic international nonprofit organization dedicated to developing business solutions to poverty by linking people to information, capital, and markets. We are currently seeking a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist to support our Strengthening Farmers & SME's Resilience through Climate-Smart Grain Production in Nigeria (StreFaS) project based in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate data collection from primary sources to final reporting against project performance indicators and learning objectives.
- Design forms, surveys, indices, databases, and data visualization dashboards for the StreFaS project.
- Perform regular data quality assessments, cleaning, and advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Conduct field visits to understand context, identify data needs, and provide technical assistance to project staff and sub-awardees.
- Ensure monitoring systems capture impact on women and vulnerable groups in alignment with donor regulations.
- Collaborate with technical advisors to support adaptive management, document best practices, and contribute to project reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Agribusiness, Project Management, Social Sciences, or related field with at least 3 years of M&E experience in donor-funded programs (or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience).
- Strong expertise in M&E methodologies, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in data management tools, CommCare, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated experience working with international NGOs in Nigeria's enterprise development landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a willingness to travel to field locations.
