About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly organized, professional, and empathetic Medical Secretary to join our dedicated administrative team and facilitate smooth daily operations for our patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage front-desk operations, welcoming patients, visitors, and medical professionals with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
- Schedule, coordinate, and confirm patient appointments, consultations, and surgical procedures efficiently.
- Maintain, update, and secure electronic and physical medical records in compliance with healthcare data regulations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and professional referrals.
- Assist in preparing medical reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation as required by the clinical team.
- Process patient billing inquiries, coordinate with insurance providers, and manage day-to-day administrative paperwork.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Studies, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven previous experience working as a medical secretary, receptionist, or administrative assistant in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a polite and professional phone manner.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, hospital management software, and electronic health record systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
