About the Role
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Teaching Hospital, located in Okada, Edo State, is Nigeria's first private university teaching hospital and the primary medical training facility for Igbinedion University. We are seeking dedicated and qualified Medical Officers to join our dynamic healthcare team and contribute to excellence in patient care, medical education, and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and medical treatment across assigned departments
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and medical conferences
- Support medical education and training of students and junior staff
- Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and quality assurance guidelines
- Respond to emergency situations and provide acute medical interventions as required
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree
- Valid Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) registration
- Current practicing license and proof of good standing
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
