About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for dedicated and experienced Medical Officers (Grades II-VI) to join our esteemed healthcare network in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care in obstetrics and gynaecology across outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and medical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in obstetrics and gynaecology with decreasing levels of supervision, escalating complex cases appropriately.
  • Participate actively in clinical duties, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, on-call rotas, and relevant medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and ensure compliance with internal hospital policies and current MDCN regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, coordinating patient care and supporting efficient HMO and managed-care processes.
  • Contribute to departmental clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of housemanship/internship and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience, ideally including prior practice at the Medical Officer level.
  • Current practicing license and valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology, paired with strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Progress toward relevant postgraduate qualifications (such as NPMCN or WACS primaries) is a strong advantage.
