About the Role
Zenith Medical & Kidney Center was established in 2011 as a highly specialized healthcare institution delivering first-class medical services across renal medicine, urology, cardiology, general surgery, and other advanced specialties. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Officer to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering excellent patient-centered care, maintaining rigorous clinical standards, and contributing to the efficient daily operations of our multi-specialty facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality patient care including thorough medical assessments, accurate diagnoses, effective treatments, and attentive emergency care.
- Participate actively in daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal health outcomes and timely interventions.
- Supervise and provide clinical support to junior medical and nursing staff to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
- Assist with hospital administrative duties and collaborate with management to ensure the smooth, efficient running of clinical services.
- Coordinate appropriate patient follow-up care and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical discussions.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of post-NYSC clinical experience in a recognized healthcare facility.
- Must possess a valid and current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical judgment, emergency response, and patient management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and administrative skills.
