About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to join our growing clinical team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing medical emergencies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatments for patients.
  • Prescribe medications, monitor patient recovery progress, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer appropriate acute care interventions.
  • Perform minor medical procedures within the authorized scope of clinical practice.
  • Refer complex cases to appropriate medical specialists when clinically necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Participate actively in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and scheduled on-call duties.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, professional medical ethics, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid and current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Successful completion of the mandatory Housemanship (internship) and NYSC program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical assessment, diagnostic accuracy, and crisis decision-making.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a strong advantage.
