About the Role
Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, is a premier tertiary institution dedicated to producing qualified health professionals. We are currently seeking a dedicated and competent Medical Officer to join our vibrant academic community and oversee healthcare delivery at the Polytechnic Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective clinical leadership to officers and medical personnel working within the Polytechnic Health Centre.
- Conduct professional consultations with staff, students, and patients visiting the facility for accurate medical diagnosis.
- Prescribe appropriate medical interventions, treatments, and management plans for various health conditions.
- Deliver comprehensive general medical practices and preventive healthcare services tailored to a tertiary institution environment.
- Ensure compliance with standard medical protocols and maintain accurate patient health records.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must be duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a current practicing license.
- Evidence of completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme through a discharge certificate.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic setting.
Remuneration is structured in accordance with the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) as applicable to tertiary health services in Ekiti State, alongside opportunities for professional growth within a reputable educational institution.
