Dr. Peter Odili Cancer & Cardiovascular Hospital (POCCH) is a premier tertiary healthcare institution in Port Harcourt dedicated to providing advanced medical care in oncology, cardiovascular medicine, and more. We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Officer to join our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with specialists in oncology, cardiovascular, and renal care to ensure holistic patient management
- Participate in ward rounds, emergency responses, and clinical audits
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, disease management, and treatment options
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a recognized hospital setting
