About the Role

Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre (LECC) is a premier multidisciplinary cardiovascular and cardiac rehabilitation facility dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing complex heart and vascular diseases through advanced invasive and non-invasive procedures. Our team of skilled cardiologists, surgeons, and specialists are committed to delivering world-class healthcare. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria, and contribute to our mission of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients visiting the facility.
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating closely with specialist cardiologists, surgeons, and ICU physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and stabilize patients requiring urgent intervention.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and patient documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical ward rounds and continuous medical education programs.

Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant post-NYSC clinical experience working in a reputable hospital or healthcare facility.
  • Possession of a valid and current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Ability to work efficiently and unsupervised in a fast-paced multispecialist environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
