Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary and emergency medical care to students, staff, and authorized dependents.
- Conduct routine medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
- Manage patient referrals to specialist consultants when advanced medical intervention is required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records for all patients.
- Participate in university health campaigns, wellness programs, and health education seminars.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of clinical service delivery.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Evidence of completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated clinical competence, professional integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Relevant post-graduation clinical experience in a recognized hospital or university health center will be an added advantage.
