About the Role
Peak Diagnostic Services Limited is a leading medical diagnostic center established in Lagos, Nigeria, delivering prompt and accurate clinical laboratory services to local and international communities since 2006. We are currently seeking a licensed, detail-oriented, and responsible Medical Laboratory Technician to join our expert healthcare team at our Lagos Island location. In this vital role, you will perform essential diagnostic testing to support effective patient care, accurate clinical decisions, and improved health outcomes within a professional and well-equipped laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, receive, process, and analyze various patient biological specimens with high precision and adherence to strict protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliable test outcomes.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all test procedures, sample logs, and patient diagnostic records.
- Strictly adhere to laboratory safety standards, universal precautions, and internal quality-control procedures at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with pathologists, medical doctors, and other healthcare professionals to expedite critical diagnostic results.
- Must possess a valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or relevant certification in Medical Laboratory Science or related technology.
- Proven working experience in a recognized clinical or medical diagnostic laboratory setting.
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, specimen handling, and modern diagnostic equipment.
