Key Responsibilities- Perform safe and efficient phlebotomy procedures on both adult and pediatric patients.
- Operate, manage, and maintain automated hematology and chemistry analyzers, thermometers, balances, and other laboratory apparatus.
- Label, sort, record, and process medical specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the computer system.
- Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for seamless specimen tracking, results entry, and reporting.
- Maintain and regularly update laboratory checklists while ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Conduct thorough laboratory inventory management to ensure continuous availability of reagents and supplies.
- Assist across various functional areas of the laboratory to enhance overall service delivery and uphold the hospital reputation.
- Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) obtained from an accredited School of Health Technology.
- Valid and up-to-date registration and practicing license.
- 2 to 10 years of relevant professional work experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using laboratory information systems.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated compassion, dedication, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Must reside within Ojodu Berger and its immediate environs in Lagos.
