About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols
- Prepare and examine blood, tissue, and body fluid specimens
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of test results
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and infection control procedures
- Support diagnostic investigations and disease prevention initiatives
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Comply with MLSCN regulations and professional standards
- Minimum Academic Qualification: MLT Certificate or ND (National Diploma) in Medical Laboratory Science
- Valid MLSCN Registration and Current Practicing License
- Age: 18 to 40 years at the time of application (subject to state policy modifications)
- Professional certification from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
- Completed mandatory internship as required by regulatory standards
- Stable public sector employment with Zamfara State Government
