Key Responsibilities- Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens efficiently for laboratory analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory tests in strict accordance with established standard operating procedures.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare reagents and ensure the proper storage and inventory of laboratory consumables.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and data entry.
- Observe rigorous quality control procedures and laboratory safety guidelines at all times.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Support Medical Laboratory Scientists in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic services to improve patient care outcomes.
- Diploma or National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a medical laboratory or healthcare facility.
- Good understanding of standard laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to operate basic laboratory equipment under supervision.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
