We are currently looking for a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team in Lagos, playing a crucial role in delivering accurate diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyze body fluids, tissue, and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings.
- Perform molecular diagnostics such as PCR, alongside hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and COVID-19 testing.
- Organize laboratory work by matching computer orders, sorting specimens, checking labels, and maintaining clean work surfaces.
- Identify and communicate abnormal results promptly to physicians, nurses, and supervisory personnel.
- Operate sophisticated laboratory equipment following standard operating procedures and maintain strict quality control measures.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a medical laboratory, clinic, or hospital.
- Valid certification from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and a current practicing license.
- Hands-on experience in molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
