We are currently looking for a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of complex clinical laboratory tests and analyses in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and pathology.
- Ensure the accurate operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocols to guarantee reliable test results.
- Process, label, and manage patient specimens efficiently while upholding strict chain-of-custody and safety guidelines.
- Document and review test data meticulously, reporting critical values to attending physicians promptly.
- Comply with all health, safety, and regulatory standards within the laboratory environment.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree or equivalent qualification.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- 3 to 5 years of cognate working experience in a reputable clinical diagnostic laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
