We are currently looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and contribute to our mission of diagnostic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples following standard operating procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sophisticated medical laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through rigorous quality control and quality assurance protocols.
- Handle, process, and track biological specimens efficiently while adhering to biosafety guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate digital records of all laboratory procedures and patient test results.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Comply with all regulatory standards, health and safety regulations, and ethical guidelines in the laboratory.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree or equivalent qualification.
- Valid current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Proven professional experience working in a clinical diagnostic laboratory environment.
- Strong working knowledge of modern laboratory automation and diagnostic software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
