Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of professional medical laboratory tests in areas such as pathology, microbiology, hematology, and clinical chemistry.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment and instruments with precision.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and infection control guidelines.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results for diagnostic and research purposes.
- Maintain comprehensive inventory records of laboratory reagents, supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with academic and medical staff to support research initiatives and student practical sessions.
- Possess a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized university.
- Must possess O Level Certificate with at least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Mandatory possession of the NYSC discharge certificate or certificate of exemption.
- Demonstrated computer competency and proficiency in using laboratory information systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
