Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Collect, process, and thoroughly examine patient specimens while maintaining sample integrity.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on advanced laboratory equipment.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and facilitate the timely reporting of critical laboratory results to physicians.
- Maintain strict quality control and quality assurance protocols across all testing procedures.
- Adhere rigorously to infection prevention, safety protocols, and standard laboratory guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support optimal patient treatment plans.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all patient information and diagnostic records.
- Possess a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Must be fully registered and hold a valid, current practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Demonstrated experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is a distinct advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the proven ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
