We offer a comprehensive range of medical solutions, including general medicine, surgery, maternity, advanced laboratory diagnostics, scan and ECG, special baby care unit, ear, nose, and throat care, and specialized dental services. As we expand our diagnostic capabilities, we are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and chemical analyses accurately and efficiently to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Collect, correctly label, process, centrifuge, and store biological samples according to established medical protocols.
- Accurately record, verify, and report test results to attending physicians within designated turnaround times.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while managing inventory levels of essential testing supplies.
- Strictly adhere to hospital health, safety, infection control, and quality-assurance procedures at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive, secure, and accurate physical and digital laboratory records.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- Valid and current professional registration and operating licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) where applicable.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on clinical laboratory experience within a recognized hospital or diagnostic facility.
- Strong working knowledge of modern laboratory procedures, sample collection techniques, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
- Proven ability to independently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot standard medical laboratory equipment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.
