About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic Laboratory and Diagnostics department. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate diagnostic results using cutting-edge medical technologies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyze body fluids, tissue, and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings.
- Perform molecular diagnostics including PCR, alongside hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and infectious disease testing.
- Identify and communicate abnormal results promptly to supervisory personnel, physicians, and nursing staff.
- Operate sophisticated laboratory equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot instruments, and monitor quality control protocols.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with established healthcare standards.
- Engage professionally and compassionately with patients and families to support effective healthcare delivery.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a medical laboratory, clinic, or hospital setting.
- Valid certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN) and a current practicing license.
- Demonstrated experience in molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR is required.
- Strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
