We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Nigeria and contribute to our mission of helping people live longer, healthier lives through reliable diagnostic and healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, and identification of pathogens.
- Analyze various biological specimens such as blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids with precision.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure strict compliance with all laboratory policies, quality assurance protocols, and safety standards.
- Record and interpret results accurately, communicating critical findings to healthcare providers when necessary.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay updated with industry advancements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to good laboratory practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
- Valid and current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-NYSC experience in a medical laboratory, with strong expertise in Microbiology.
- Thoroughly conversant with good laboratory practice and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and high accuracy in data recording.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
