Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive microbiological testing including culture, sensitivity testing, and pathogen identification
- Analyze clinical specimens including blood, urine, tissue, and body fluids with precision and accuracy
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Ensure full compliance with laboratory policies, quality assurance protocols, and safety standards
- Record, interpret, and communicate test results accurately to healthcare providers and clinical teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
- Valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
- Minimum 3-5 years post-NYSC experience in a medical laboratory setting
- Strong expertise in microbiology with demonstrated proficiency
- Thorough knowledge of good laboratory practices and quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
