Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct accurate chemical pathology laboratory tests and analyses to aid in disease diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all test results, quality control data, and laboratory inventory in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, and researchers within the hospital environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and standard operating procedures at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
  • Current registration and valid practicing license with the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria (IMLSN).
  • Minimum of 4 years cognate post-qualification experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong ICT compliance and proficiency in using laboratory information management systems.
  • Demonstrated integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
