Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients.
- Perform and assist with basic surgical procedures within approved scope of practice and ensure proper pre-operative and post-operative management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, make critical clinical decisions, and monitor admitted patients for continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient records, and collaborate effectively with nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory personnel.
- Uphold high standards of medical ethics, patient safety, confidentiality, and professional bedside manner at all times.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a valid, current practicing license.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a recognized hospital environment.
- Demonstrable competence and hands-on experience in performing basic surgical procedures.
- Ability to reside in hospital-provided accommodation and manage assigned on-call responsibilities.
