About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Medical Doctor to join our Lagos Medical Division. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services to our employees, dependents, retirees, and authorized personnel while upholding the highest standards of professional and confidential patient care under the supervision of the Senior Medical Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to employees, dependents, and authorized personnel.
- Conduct regular clinical reviews, risk assessments, and twice-daily ward rounds for in-house hospitalized patients.
- Manage emergency medical situations effectively, determining appropriate treatments, internal interventions, or external specialist referrals.
- Monitor referred patients to ensure continuity of care and maintain strong professional relationships with accredited external hospitals.
- Perform annual medical examinations, provide health counselling, and deliver patient education on relevant wellness matters.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical documentation and prepare detailed monthly activity reports for management.
- Ensure all medical practices fully comply with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and international healthcare standards.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification clinical experience, with demonstrable expertise in emergency medicine.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, decision-making, and patient management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, counselling, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
