About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of specialized technical staffing, procurement, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Head of Emergency & Clinic Superintendent to oversee 24/7 high-quality emergency and occupational medical services at our DW Lagos Clinic, ensuring seamless operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and adherence to international healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 first-line medical emergency response, initial patient assessment, triage, resuscitation, and stabilization.
- Perform authorized emergency procedures including CPR, defibrillation, advanced airway management, intubation, and mechanical ventilation.
- Coordinate complex medical evacuations (medevac), patient transfers, and rescue operations to appropriate healthcare facilities.
- Manage procurement, inventory, and supply chain for emergency drugs, medical consumables, equipment, and medical gases.
- Supervise ambulance operations, maintain operational readiness of emergency response resources, and coordinate driver logistics.
- Manage expatriate medical consultations, hospitalization records, accounting, invoicing, and medical imprest activities.
- Conduct health and safety awareness inductions on hygiene, infectious diseases, and malaria prevention for staff.
- Organize emergency response drills, simulations, and continuous medical education programs for clinic personnel.
- Certified and registered nurse anesthetist with valid BLS, ACLS, and ITLS certifications.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in anesthesia, emergency care, and intensive care units (ICU).
- At least 5 years of experience working within an expatriate context or international medical environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in difficult airway management and advanced patient stabilization.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and medical office management systems.
