University of Ilesa - UNILESA Teaching Hospital, established through the upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital by the Osun State government, is seeking a dedicated Medical Consultant specializing in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology. Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist medical consultation and advanced diagnostic services in medical microbiology and parasitology.
- Supervise laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to quality control and biosafety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to manage complex infectious disease cases.
- Teach and mentor medical students, resident doctors, and other healthcare trainees.
- Participate in institutional research and community health initiatives.
- Possession of relevant professional medical qualifications, including fellowship (FWACP, FMCPath, or equivalent) in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology.
- Current and valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
