The University of Ilesa - UNILESA Teaching Hospital, established through the strategic upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital by the Osun State Government, is seeking a visionary and experienced Medical Consultant in Family Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, continuous, and high-quality primary healthcare services to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical officers, and undergraduate medical students.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary clinical ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency medical services.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to evidence-based medical practices within the Department of Family Medicine.
- Collaborate with hospital management to implement healthcare policies, quality assurance protocols, and departmental improvements.
- Possession of a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCGP) or West African College of Physicians (FWACP) in Family Medicine, or equivalent foreign qualifications.
- Current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical experience and a strong track record of professional excellence in family medicine.
