We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Medical Consultant in Anaesthesia to join our growing team of elite healthcare professionals. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Consultant in Anaesthesia, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier clinical services and shaping the future of healthcare at our institution.
- Provide expert anaesthetic care for surgical, obstetric, and emergency procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical students, and other allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate actively in departmental research, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure optimal patient safety and perioperative outcomes.
- Contribute to administrative duties and policy development within the Department of Anaesthesiology.
Candidates applying for this esteemed position must meet the following professional criteria:
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Hold relevant postgraduate fellowship qualifications such as FWACS, FMCPath, or an equivalent international certification in Anaesthesia.
- Must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of clinical excellence, research publications, and academic contribution.
- Possess excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
