Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all factory production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and execute prompt repairs on extrusion blown film and bag-cutting machines.
- Inspect mechanical components regularly, identifying worn-out parts for timely replacement or servicing.
- Conduct equipment servicing, lubrication, calibration, and necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to resolve machinery issues and support new equipment installation and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and report recurring mechanical issues to management.
- Strictly adhere to factory health and safety protocols, ensuring proper utilization of tools and workshop equipment.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility.
- Essential practical expertise working with extrusion blown film machines and bag-cutting machines.
- Prior experience in a flexible packaging, polythene, or nylon production factory is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and competence in reading technical manuals.
