We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Engineer III to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products to ensure alignment with team goals and project objectives.
- Evaluate and comment on engineering work performed internally, by contractors, and subcontractors to guarantee compliance with company specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Review discipline design drawings, documents, and technical information requests efficiently.
- Identify, assess, and process deviations to contract technical specifications, maintaining an accurate deviation control log.
- Communicate engineering progress, potential deviations, and execution concerns to the lead engineer or engineering manager.
- Participate in comprehensive discipline engineering reviews at contractor and subcontractor locations.
- Drive and promote capital efficiency across all engineering design phases.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in operational priorities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software programs and technical design tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong technical and business communication skills.
