We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Agbara, Ogun State. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and safety of our heavy machinery and mechanical systems, directly supporting our continuous production goals and operational growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust mechanical designs that meet rigorous operational and industrial safety requirements.
- Lead both preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant machinery to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance overall productivity and reduce operating costs.
- Ensure all mechanical operations and maintenance protocols strictly comply with national and international industry safety standards.
- Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive engineering reports, technical manuals, and equipment records.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional production, electrical, and safety teams to achieve overarching manufacturing targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of demonstrable professional experience in mechanical systems design, industrial maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial safety standards, compliance practices, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software and modern mechanical analysis tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication and leadership skills.
