We are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, playing a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our mechanical systems and pharmaceutical production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all mechanical equipment and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults and resolve equipment breakdowns swiftly to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain and repair pharmaceutical machinery, including mixers, granulators, tablet presses, capsule machines, coating systems, and packing equipment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new plant machinery.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend modifications to enhance overall reliability and productivity.
  • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, pipelines, pumps, valves, bearings, and gearboxes.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history records, work orders, and technical compliance reports.
  • Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant professional engineering certifications or memberships are a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on maintenance experience within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in industrial equipment troubleshooting and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments and stringent safety standards.
