About the Role
Mikano International is the leading power solution provider in Nigeria, renowned for manufacturing and assembling high-tech diesel and gas generators ranging from 9KVA to 5000KVA. We are currently looking for a skilled Mechanic Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Lagos, providing critical technical leadership to ensure our power solutions meet the highest global standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical activities associated with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel generator sets.
- Develop and implement overhaul work plans, schedules, manpower requirements, and job priorities to ensure timely completion.
- Lead the dismantling, inspection, repair, replacement, and reassembly of diesel generator engines and major components.
- Supervise critical adjustments such as valve setting, engine timing, and fuel injector installation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OEM specifications, and quality assurance standards.
- HND, B.Sc., or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience, focusing on diesel generator overhauling.
- At least 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
- Strong expertise in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and engine component inspection.
- Relevant technical certifications in diesel engines or generator maintenance will be an added advantage.
