About the Role
Levitikal Group comprises Levitikal Realties and Construction, Levitikal Hotels and Entertainment, Levitikal Farm and Agro, and Levitikal Energy Limited. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our dynamic team and ensure the optimum performance and minimal downtime of our heavy-duty fleet and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out precision repairs on construction equipment and company vehicles.
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance on heavy-duty equipment including excavators, loaders, concrete mixers, cranes, and industrial generators.
- Inspect engines, hydraulic systems, braking mechanisms, transmissions, and electrical components thoroughly.
- Replace defective parts efficiently and conduct scheduled servicing activities to extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date maintenance and repair logs for all serviced machinery.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency across all active project sites.
- Comply strictly with all company safety policies, environmental standards, and industry regulations.
- Report major mechanical issues promptly and recommend appropriate, cost-effective solutions to management.
- Minimum of an OND, Trade Test Certificate, or Technical Vocational Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven hands-on experience maintaining construction or heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, complex hydraulic systems, and advanced mechanical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance schedules.
- Good problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and diagnostic accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to site conditions, and meet tight operational deadlines.
