Taqwa Private Schools, located in a serene environment at Ifako-Ijaiye, Agege, Lagos, is a leading co-educational institution offering Daycare, Nursery, Primary, and College education. We integrate Arabic, English, and French curricula while preparing students for success in JSSCE, NECO, SSCE, and tertiary education. We are currently seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to inspire our students and foster academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum and WAEC/NECO standards.
- Design creative teaching strategies to simplify complex mathematical concepts and enhance student comprehension.
- Prepare students rigorously for external examinations such as WAEC and NECO to ensure outstanding performance.
- Incorporate modern educational technology to create interactive and impactful learning experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback and remedial support where necessary.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Partner with school management, colleagues, and parents to support holistic student development.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level, particularly with WAEC/NECO syllabi.
- Exceptional ability to make Mathematics enjoyable and accessible to all learners.
- Proficiency in utilizing modern instructional technology and digital teaching aids.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
